Job description

We are looking for an experienced and technically capable Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic to join an established team in New Zealand. Requirements

• • Diagnose, service and repair heavy diesel vehicles
• • Carry out diesel engine servicing and repairs
• • Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
• • Complete preventative and corrective maintenance
• • Perform scheduled servicing and inspections
• • Identify the cause of vehicle faults
• • Carry out repairs efficiently and accurately
• • Use appropriate diagnostic equipment and software
• • Complete maintenance documentation and service records
• • Maintain high standards of workmanship
• • Follow all workplace health and safety requirements
• • Keep workshop areas, tools and equipment organised
• • Work collaboratively with team members
• • Undertake mechanical work in workshop and outdoor environments
