Job description
We are seeking a hands-on Hotel Manager for an exciting long-term opportunity in NSW. This is not a role for someone who simply delegates from an office. You will be actively involved in guest services, daily operations, staff coordination, contractor management and practical problem solving. Accommodation may be available, and visa sponsorship is available for the right candidate who meets the relevant eligibility requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Take ownership of daily hotel operations
- Ensure guests receive a professional and positive experience
- Manage and coordinate staff activities
- Work with contractors, suppliers and service providers
- Communicate with external authorities when required
- Respond to issues quickly and find practical solutions
- Handle guest concerns professionally
- Monitor the property and identify maintenance needs
- Assist with minor repairs and basic troubleshooting
- Coordinate maintenance and repair work
- Help maintain efficient and high-quality operations
- Support the growth and long-term success of the hotel
Requirements
- Excellent English communication skills
- Strong customer service and interpersonal abilities
- Previous management experience or proven management skills
- A genuine hands-on approach to work
- Ability to lead, coordinate and motivate others
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Good judgement and the ability to make confident decisions
- Resilience and flexibility in a fast-paced environment
- Basic handyman or maintenance skills are highly desirable
- Ability to work independently when required
- Interest in a stable and long-term career opportunity
- Willingness to relocate within NSW
- Visa sponsorship available for eligible and suitable candidates
