The position also provides the opportunity to manage recruitment for international talent.

Requirements

  • • Lead, mentor and develop the HR and Recruitment team
  • • Build and implement workforce and recruitment strategies aligned with operational requirements
  • • Establish recruitment practices that support clear assessment of candidate skills, experience and professional background
  • • Oversee the review of relevant employment records, qualifications, licences, certifications and supporting documentation
  • • Manage end-to-end recruitment for skilled blue-collar and professional positions
  • • Oversee candidate selection, onboarding and mobilisation across workshop and project operations
  • • Support the recruitment and onboarding of eligible international candidates
  • • Coordinate sponsorship requirements and relevant documentation with appropriate migration providers
  • • Partner with operational leaders to forecast current and future workforce requirements
  • • Develop sustainable talent pipelines for project and business growth
  • • Manage relationships with labour hire providers and external workforce suppliers
  • • Monitor supplier performance and workforce quality
  • • Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management and workplace matters
  • • Manage disciplinary matters, investigations and employee grievances
  • • Apply Australian employment legislation, Modern Awards, Enterprise Agreements and company policies
  • • Monitor HR data, workforce trends and recruitment performance
  • • Coordinate employee performance reviews, training requirements and skills matrix management
  • • Identify opportunities to strengthen HR systems, recruitment processes and workforce practices
