The role offers variety, responsibility and exposure to equipment beyond the standard automotive workshop environment.

Requirements

• Maintain, service and repair fleet vehicles and Ground Support Equipment
• Perform detailed mechanical inspections and identify faults
• Diagnose mechanical, diesel and hydraulic system issues
• Complete preventative maintenance according to service requirements
• Carry out corrective repairs and replacement of faulty components
• Respond to mechanical breakdowns and assist with rapid equipment recovery
• Work on a variety of specialised vehicles and mechanical equipment
• Assess equipment condition and identify potential maintenance concerns
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, servicing and completed repairs
• Document faults and communicate additional repair requirements
• Complete work in accordance with safety, quality and operational procedures
• Work independently while contributing to a reliable and cooperative team
• Communicate professionally with supervisors, colleagues and clients
• Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in an organised condition
• Take ownership of assigned work and ensure repairs are completed properly
• Follow all specialised workplace and aviation-related safety requirements
