An established Australian construction contractor is seeking a Project Engineer to join its growing team and contribute to major high-rise and large-scale building projects. The role is aimed at construction professionals who can demonstrate genuine qualifications, practical experience and technical capability. Your background will be assessed against the project requirements, creating a stronger pathway for professionals whose experience aligns with the demands of Australian construction. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on knowledge of formwork, concrete structures, structural coordination and high-rise project delivery. Qualified professionals with relevant overseas experience are encouraged to apply. Requirements
- • Coordinate engineering activities across high-rise and large-scale construction projects
- • Plan and coordinate formwork, concrete and structural construction works
- • Work with subcontractors, consultants, suppliers and site teams
- • Review engineering drawings, specifications and construction documentation
- • Assist with project programming, sequencing and construction planning
- • Monitor project progress, milestones and construction schedules
- • Coordinate subcontractor activities and resolve day-to-day construction issues
- • Assist with contract administration and commercial documentation
- • Identify technical and construction risks and support practical solutions
- • Monitor quality and ensure works comply with approved drawings and specifications
- • Maintain accurate engineering records, reports and project documentation
- • Coordinate technical information between project stakeholders
- • Support Project Managers and senior engineers with project delivery
- • Assist in ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and within programme
