Key responsibilities
- Deliver professional hair styling services in line with client requirements
- Conduct detailed consultations and recommend suitable styling options
- Perform cutting, colouring, styling and other core hairdressing services
- Create high-quality and personalised results for clients
- Provide professional guidance on hair care, styling and maintenance
- Develop positive relationships with new and returning clients
- Maintain a high standard of customer service throughout each appointment
- Demonstrate creativity while following professional salon standards
- Work collaboratively with the wider salon team
- Maintain a clean, organised and professional workstation
- Follow salon hygiene, safety and operational procedures
- Stay informed about current hairstyles, techniques and industry trends
- Participate in training and ongoing professional development
- Deliver hair extension services where suitably trained and experienced
- Support client retention through consistent service and professional communication
- Contribute to a positive and supportive salon culture
Requirements
- Relevant hairdressing qualification or recognised professional training
- Proven experience as a Senior Hair Stylist or experienced professional hairdresser
- Strong technical knowledge and practical salon experience
- Demonstrable and verifiable professional employment history
- Ability to complete the required identity and experience verification process
- Strong client consultation and communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Passion for hairdressing and pride in professional workmanship
- Professional, friendly and customer-focused attitude
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to manage responsibilities independently when required
- Understanding of salon hygiene and professional workplace standards
- Reliable, motivated and committed to career development
- Previous hair extension experience is highly advantageous
