Job description
We are seeking a qualified Endorsed Enrolled Nurse for a verified residential aged care leadership position in Victoria, Australia. Requirements
- • Coordinate the delivery of daily care within the allocated residential area
- • Lead and support care staff throughout designated shifts
- • Ensure resident care is delivered safely and in a person-centred manner
- • Support residents according to their individual care needs, preferences and goals
- • Provide social and emotional support to promote comfort and wellbeing
- • Work closely with nursing and clinical staff to maintain continuity of care
- • Assist with medication-related responsibilities within the authorised scope of practice
- • Support the management of nutrition and hydration requirements
- • Participate in pressure care and other clinical support activities
- • Monitor care delivery and assist with the coordination of resident needs
- • Provide guidance and practical support to care team members
- • Maintain clear and accurate care documentation
- • Communicate effectively with residents, colleagues and relevant stakeholders
- • Use workplace technology and care management systems as required
- • Follow workplace health and safety procedures
- • Maintain infection prevention and control standards
- • Promote a respectful, supportive and collaborative workplace culture
